(Fox & Hen in Brick by Barneby Gates)This image above speaks to me on so many levels. Admittedly, it appeals to my shameless Anglophilia; to my love for the sleek, sporty-chic look of equestrian fashion (see: shameless Anglophilia); and to my appreciation for a well-propped vignette. But most of all, this photo captures one of my all-time design passions: the gorgeous wallpaper from Barneby Gates.

In what should come as a surprise to no one, the company is based in the UK and is the brainchild of stylist Vanessa Bartleby (British Vogue's former Living Editor) and amazing illustrator Alice Gates. I swear, everything these women touch turns to visual gold.

The intrinsic glamour and the clever take on traditional English motifs are what capture my imagination. It's like a drawing room worthy of Elizabeth Bennet walked into the Cotswolds country house of Kate Moss. These two papers—Fox & Hen and Coral—are the latest offerings, but next month Barneby Gates debuts its fabrics collection at London design show Decorex International. I'm already redecorating in my head.
