If you're anything like me, you go through candles pretty quickly—and then you feel terrible guilt about wasting so much perfectly good glass! Luckily for us, I've found a way to reuse old candle jars that involves zero elbow grease—just a dash of ingenuity.
Wine tumblers. Yes, that's right: I'm suggesting you reuse your old candle jars as Euro-chic wine tumblers! Here's how to do it:
- Once the candle has burnt out, thoroughly remove the wax by freezing the jar for a few hours. The wax will shrink and recede from the edges of the jar, making it easier to remove.
- Scrub, scrub, scrub!
- Pour yourself a drink for your efforts (I did!)
