A few weeks ago, Lonny photo editor and
happy hour connoisseur Genevieve Garruppo attended the
debut of artist Mike Bain's airport-inspired silkscreened prints. While she definitely enjoyed
schmoozing with editors and taking in some culture, she couldn't help but be distracted by the drinks that were on hand. Having now seen the recipe for the cocktail pictured above, I can't say I blame her. Mixed by
Kirk and Nate Mueller—art directors by day, cocktail makers by night—the appropriately named Aviator sounds like a cool breeze on a summer day. Or evening. With friends close by. Bottoms up!
