Ingredients:
1 recipe standard popcorn
1 pinch baking soda
1/2 pound sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 sticks of butter
1 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 cup peanuts
1/4 cup hazelnuts
1/4 cup cashews
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp cayenne
1/4 tsp dark chili powder

Directions:
An epic recipe for an epic film! Mix spices, sugar and 1 tsp salt together. Melt 1/2 stick of butter with spice mixture. Mix with nuts and let cool. Melt butter in a heavy bottomed pot, fold in sugar and cook over low heat until a thick caramel develops. Off of the heat add in baking soda, cream and remaining salt. Pop 1 recipe of the standard popcorn. While popcorn is hot, toss with caramel and spiced nut mixture. Lay out on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper and dry in a low oven for 15-20 mins. Remove from oven and lay out in a single layer until cool. Break any large chunks up.
