If you're anything like me, you'll be spending all your summer holidays—doing what else?—barbecuing. Preferably with friends on an idyllic rooftop, near a body of water, in a ridiculously large backyard. If you're lucky, some kind soul is manning the grill for you; and if you're not, no sweat—our good friend Diana Yen has got you covered!

I pity the party planner who isn't serving these bite-sized lamb burgers at every warm-weather fête. After all, cheesy beef is so Memorial Day, and is there anyone alive who'd turn down a slider, especially when you can spin how much healthier it is than the alternative (look—yogurt!)? Make the sauce before company arrives, and then watch as your guests devour every last one. Want to really be the host with the most: pair them with Yen's Berry-Prosecco Ice Cream Floats for dessert. Spiced Lamb Sliders with Cucumber-Yogurt Sauce
Makes 8 sliders

For the patties:
-- 1 ½ pounds ground lamb
-- 1 clove minced garlic
-- 1 tablespoon chopped flat-leaf parsley
-- 2 teaspoons mustard
-- 1 teaspoon salt
-- ¼ teaspoon pepper
-- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
-- ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
-- 1 tablespoon olive oil
-- 8 mini slider buns
-- ½ tomato, sliced
-- ¼ cup watercress or other leafy green

For the yogurt sauce:
-- ¼ tablespoon salt
-- 1 cup plain yogurt
-- 1 tablespoon freshly chopped dill
-- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped mint leaves
-- ¼ teaspoon ground cumin large pinch black pepper
-- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Make the patties. In a large bowl, fold together the lamb, garlic, parsley, mustard, salt, pepper, cumin, and cardamom. With hands, form meat mixture into 8 small patties. Heat a grill pan over medium heat with 1 tablespoon olive oil.

Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, until lightly charred. Meanwhile, slice buns in half and toast on grill for 1 minute until lightly toasted. Top the bottom of each bun with burger, slice of tomato, yogurt sauce, and greens. Top with other bun and serve.
