It was only a matter of time before "The World's First Instagram Hotel" became an #IRL thing. Sydney's 1888 Hotel
is a 90-room boutique hotel that caters to the IG crowd with a dedicated selfie station in the lobby, in case each guest room's spare white walls aren't incentive enough to bust out your best duck face. Your 'grams will appear on an interactive "selfie wall" as well as the desktops of the lobby computers—and potentially in the hotel's Instagram feed, further boosting your sense of social media stardom.
Located in Sydney's central neighborhood of Pyrmont, you'll be a few short minutes away from Darling Harbour, the business district and "plenty of trendy bars." Each room at 1888 boasts high ceilings and exposed brick walls (all the better for framing your #dailycortado) not to mention original Ironbark beams, sound-proofed period windows, and recycled timber work stations. There's also an eatery with sustainably sourced fare that—we're going out on a limb here—probably looks as good as it tastes (if not better).
If you've got more than 10,000 followers on Instagram, 1888 wants to put you up for the night. Just follow @8Hotels
