Fashion and home textile design may seem strange bedfellows—upholstery weight polyblends are hardly something you want to put on your body!—but Knoll Luxe, the luxury textile brand from Knoll, and designer label Suno
have bridged that gap with a new line of textiles that translates the bold creativity of fashion design to home décor.
The latest in a series of haute collaborations with cutting-edge American designers—Proenza Schouler in 2008 and Rodarte in 2010—the line includes seven upholstery and two drapery textiles inspired by Suno's recent runway collections.
True to Suno's M.O.—the brand produces sustainably in Kenya, India, and Peru—the patterns are inspired by diverse global sources including Indian embroidery, vintage Japanese origami paper and the African Kanga.(Photos courtesy Knoll Luxe)
The line, which launched earlier this summer, is available online
