“By the time I was eight years old, I knew every kind of weave there is and where the rug was made just from looking at it,” explains Ben Soleimani, fourth generation of the Mansour Modern
rug dynasty. The handcrafting of just one of Soleimani’s rugs can take several months, as there are no automated machines, no assembly lines, and no factories involved. In Soleimani’s Menara Collection for Restoration Hardware
, the imperfect lines portray the work of master craftsmanship. As Soleimani himself explains, “Every rug is one of a kind. It is really a beautiful work of art.”
