To coincide with the release of a series of images from its famous photography archive, The New York Times Store has asked five heavy-hitting interior designers to comb the collection and act as curators of their ten favorite picks.
Vicente Wolf, Kelly Wearstler, Jonathan Adler, Laura Kirar, and Thom Filicia each selected ten photos (dating back to the 1800s!) that embody their personal style and reflect their attitudes about designing with photography.
The ever-eclectic Wearstler comments, “My selection of photos is a mix of different eras, styles, and subjects. This is very similar to my work. The mix makes things interesting.” Check out their selections, which are available for purchase beginning today, along with hundreds of additional prints at The New York Times Store.
