Get excited — our fave textile company Block Shop just released a line of pillows and they are truly gah-worthy. The sister-run studio's new collection is inspired by the only woman in the Bauhaus woodworking and sculpture department, Alma Siedho-Buscher. Using fun geometric shapes and colorful hues, the pillows are an homage to the children's blocks and furniture she created back in the '20s. These designs may come in a variety of hues, but they are meant to be mixed and matched for a playful approach to styling.
Of course, quality is key. Each block-printed pillow comes in Belgian linen and hand-woven cotton khadi. After sketched in Los Angeles, the textiles are created in the company's Jaipur-based studio where the artisan community receives fair wages as well as medical support from five percent of each sale.
