Decor is one of our favorite things to shop for — obviously. Unlike furniture, which usually requires lots of planning with space and your budget, small pieces can bring a little excitement to a room without overwhelming it. So when we heard Anne and Jordan England of Industry West were launching a new decor site, we definitely were got ready to break out our wallets. Favor will carry a mix of home and personal accessories — ranging from pretty plates to jewelry — all with a fresh and modern feel.
"We say that every great idea is born at a table over a good meal, and Favor was no exception," shares co-founder Anne England. "My husband, Jordan, and I were seeking to expand the accessories line of our furniture brand, Industry West. We were in New York talking about how to showcase new products and it felt like the right time to launch another brand."
Favor is connecting with artists around the world to help curate their new collection. "I have an affection for details in ceramics," says England. "I am in love with Brooke Winfrey’s work at btw ceramics. She works in Los Angeles and has a gift for capturing nature in her pottery, like a wild rain storm in her Torrent series."
"I also adore Silvia K. who lives and works in Brighton, England. I love her use of large brush strokes on oversized serving pieces for the dinner table," explains the co-founder. "I am also super excited about the Japanese toy brand kiko+ gg. I have two young daughters and am always looking for unique toys!"
Favor will also have a bit of crossover with co-founders' original company Industry West. In fact, there will even be a coffee bar in the brand's SoHo showroom featuring plates, mugs, and kitchenware from the new line. You can check out all that's in Favor on its brand new site.
