Love a modern aesthetic, but don't have a budget to stock your home with The Future Perfect? Well luckily, Target just announced a new collection, Modern by Dwell Magazine. The 120-piece collection will have a sleek, streamlined aesthetic that is actually affordable. Think every-item-under-$400 affordable (including large furniture pieces).
This line is clearly a testament to Target's rising prominence in the interiors market. "Target is well known for democratizing style and creating accessibility to great design," Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer for Target, says. "We were thinking about how we bring this in a more cohesive way to our guests in a single story that really showcases modern design. The collection is a great complement to our current assortment — it's stylish, high quality and the prices are great." Sounds like we've got a new IKEA alternative on our hands. Now we sit and wait. The line is available December 27.
