The designer just launched an entire new collection for the season filled with amazing prints that are sure to add some life into your space. "Our new collection is inspired by the natural beauty of spring – from the first soft greens popping up, to the muted neutrals of driftwood on the beach, and the radiance of a garden in bloom at sunset," shares the Rebecca Atwood team. "We love to bring nature into the home because it makes you feel good! Rebecca looked to serene landscapes from fields of grass to seascapes and meadows of wildflowers for inspiration."
To create each of these prints, Atwood looked both to nature and her own life. "Inspiration comes not only from the natural world, but memories, dreams, and day-to-day experiences," shares the team. "Rebecca loves to pick up little things like a rock or shell while walking along the beach or textiles while traveling. She adds these to her collection of inspiration in the studio."
"For this collection, she returned to two vintage textiles for inspiration — a scarf that belonged to her Great Aunt Libby and a fragment of a vintage textile picked up in Tokyo, Japan. Everything is filtered through her sketchbook practice," they share. "Drawing, painting, and collage are all techniques she used to create the original artwork for these new patterns."
