If you're in the market for new sneakers and are looking for a pair that is both stylish and eco-friendly, then you're in luck. Slow-fashion company Ace & Jig just collaborated with Keds to create a series of limited-edition kicks in honor of Earth Day. All of the shoes in this artisanal collection are created with ethically-made custom yarn-dyed woven textiles in India.
While you can buy these fun designs now, the two companies also created a special "No Waste Shoe," made from scraps from the factory floor. These sneaks are truly one-of-a-kind and can only be purchased on April 25 at select L.A. Nordstrom stores hosting a pop-in.
“Keds brings an authenticity to their craft that resonates with us: they are the only sneaker brand in the world that has been making sneakers for women for over 100 years,” say Ace & Jig co-founders Jenna Wilson and Cary Vaughan. “This collaboration features classic Kids silhouettes crafted out of our custom woven textile designs. They are all versatile and joyful staples, and we can’t wait to share and wear them!”
Want to get this collab before it sells out? You can pick up a pair on Keds' and Nordstrom's sites along with the special pop-in locations.
