L.A. is home to one of the prettiest new openings we've seen in a while.
Inspired by the design principles of Japanese wabi-sabi and Danish hygge, Neighborhood is the new coffee spot and ice creamery from lifestyle blogger Geri Hirsch, husband Darin, and brother-in-law Matthew Friedman.
This fresh new address — complete with gold sconces, salmon pink walls, and a contemporary marble bar — boasts the full line-up of Craig's vegan ice cream, alongside a globally inspired beverage menu of drip lattes, iced matcha, and just about everything in between.
While Neighborhood officially announced its opening via Instagram on Monday, we don't doubt there will be much more to come from this newly minted La Brea hotspot.
"It is our plan to regularly feature local makers, artists, artisans, wellness experts, and thought leaders from the neighborhood who will be invited to come to the shop and host special sales, giveaways, lectures, and get togethers," the eatery's website reads.
Inside, the space features a large communal dining table and lengthy bar facing a large bay window, in a bid to encourage visitors to "engage with neighbors and friends instead of surfing their laptops."
Devout coffee-lovers will also be pleasantly surprised to learn that Neighborhood have partnered with local bean and cult favorite, Canyon Coffee.
But if the coffee isn't really your jam, we suggest sipping on matcha and soaking up the Instagramable surrounds instead.
Neighborhood is open from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. during the weekend. To learn more about this brand new opening visit Neighborhood.
