Stop what you're doing. If you don't already follow @cabanamagazine on Instagram, do it right this second. The year-old Italian design magazine is basically our idea of heaven—overflowing with images of old-world European interiors, beautifully patinaed tiles, and incredibly luxurious textiles, all with a sort of offhanded cool that lends it a modern relevance. Think World of Interiors meets The Selby. The biannual pub just launched their fourth issue, and we are stalking our neighborhood newsstand for the day that it arrives stateside. Until we can hold the volume in our hands, we're heading over to their curated pop-up sale on 1stdibs, which just launched today. No surprise, it's everything we could want and more.
Items for the sale range from gorgeous terracotta plates from Sweden, to incredible pieces of jewelry from Afghanistan, all the way to plush wool blankets from Scotland. All, of course, are precious items that look like they jumped right out of the pages of their lofty periodical. Le sigh.
The pop-up is only doing business through December 31st and all the finds are exclusively online so by all means, stop reading and get clicking.
