THE Home Upgrade We Want To Copy Right Now

Orlando Soria takes Parachute's founder's space to the next level.

If we were tasked with describing Parachute's overall home aesthetic in two words, we might choose "clean perfection." So, it's hard to imagine that Parachute's visionary and founder, Ariel Kaye, would be able to upgrade the design of her space. There's only one person we could think of that might be able to conquer that challenge, and of course, that person is Orlando Soria.

The interior designer gave Kaye's home a revamp, focusing on comfort and entertaining. Soria and Kaye worked together to find balance in her home (he loves bold, exciting elements, while she leans toward the soft, minimal look).

Starting with maximizing the hosting and seating space, Soria brought floor pillows and an accent bench into the living space. These pieces can be moved around for different occasions and activities, allowing for versatility and change-up in the room. He also reorganized the storage system in the guest bedroom, bringing in closed cabinets and a console.

Kaye wanted to bring a sanctuary-feel into the bedroom, so the bed, linens, and towels all got an upgrade. Soria even brought in new table linens and greenery (our biggest weakness) to complete the space. To see the entire home makeover, see Parachute's recap here
