Legendary heiress Bunny Mellon's massive (and much-hyped) Sotheby's auction
is in full force—it's already acquired over $150 million and only begins its second round of sales tonight. So of course we've been glued to our Instagrams, soaking up all the fabulous festivities, through the lens of lucky bidders, party goers, and famous attendees.

Sotheby's hosted a dinner party earlier this week in the hallowed halls of the Upper East Side auction house, and guests like socialite Amanda Brooks
dined in true Bunny fashion at a long table dotted with delicate topiaries, lattice-printed china, and chinoiserie vessels, all surrounded by an impressive installation of faux-trellis panels
reminiscent of the gardens of her famous Virginia estate.

Thousands of pieces are on the block from her numerous homes, ranging from the cheeky needlepoint pillow grammed by man-about-town Derek Blasberg
, to a collection of vintage Louis Vuitton luggage posted by Sotheby's
themselves. If all this buying, selling and general ogling is making dollar signs flash before your eyes, bear in mind that in the spirit of the philanthropist behind it all, the proceeds will go to benefit Mrs. Mellon's horticultural and library foundation.
